O'Dea, Walling

James and Kim O'Dea of McCook announce the engagement of their daughter, Breanna Leigh, to Jeremy David Walling, son of David and Vicky Walling of Springfield, Mo. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Densel and Barbara O'Dea of McCook and Norm and Rita Sekavec of Billings, Mont. Her great-grandmother is Enid Hurley of McCook. The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of McCook High School and is a senior at the University of Kansas, majoring in Spanish. The prospective bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Southwest Missouri State University (SMSU), with a degree in political science. He then received his masters degree in public administration from SMSU and is working on his doctorate from the University of Kansas in American politics and public administration. He is an instructor of American politics st SMSU. The couple is planning a Jan. 4, 2003, ceremony in Lawrence, Kan. The couple will make their home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
