Summer ceremony unites couple
FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Annette Michelle Graham of Fort Collins, Colo., and Colby Jac Severson of Denver, Colo., were united in marriage June 22, 2002, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Collins, with the Rev. Paul J. Colling of Woodriver, uncle of the bride, officiating.
Parents of the couple are Greg and Barbara Graham of Fort Collins and R.G. and Quincey Severson of Gunnison, Colo.
Grandparents of the couple are Mary F. Colling of McCook, the late Francis J. Colling, the late Lester and Mae Graham, Robert and Norma Severson of Chicago, Ill., and Dolores Lowing of St. Petersburg, Fla., and the late Loren Lowing.
The bride wore a white matte sating gown with a chiffon overlay. The princess-line shaped gown was accented with pearl and sequined appliques. A roped band, beaded with pearls, accented the V-neck and the spaghetti straps. Pearled and sequined appliques surrounded the skirt and scalloped hemline. Her cathedral-length veil was held by a silver pearled tiara. She carried a bouquet of white roses, white calla lilies and white lissianthis, with a pearl rosary entwined in her bouquet. The bridegroom wore a black tuxedo with tails, white vest and bowtie and a two-rose boutonniere.
Marianne Hock of Lincoln, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Sharlene Hock and Sarah Hock, both of Culbertson and cousins of the bride, Melissa Bittinger of Fort Collins and Camhi Lane of Wellington, Colo. They each wore a floor-length, pale blue gown with a pearled and beaded bodice. The skirts were satin with a chiffon overlay. They each carried a bouquet of white roses.
Brad Schick of Pagosa Springs, Colo., was the best man. Kassidy Severson of Gunnison, brother of the bridegroom, Matt Henkel of Fort Collins, Justin Woytek of Dallas, Texas and Dave Nancarrow of Amarillo, Texas were the bridegroomsmen. They each wore a black tuxedo with tails, silver vests, silver bowties and white rose boutonnieres.
The flower girl was Megan Corcoran of Fort Collins, cousin of the bride. She wore a white dress made by Mary Hock of Culbertson, aunt of the bride, and the bride's mother. The dress had a beaded and pearled bodice that matched the bride's gown and the skirt had chiffon overlaying the white satin. Rudy Repa of Chicago, Ill., cousin of the bridegroom, served as the ring bearer. He wore a black tuxedo matching the bridegroom. The flower girl's basket and the ring bearer's pillow were designed and made by the bride's mother.
Ushers for the ceremony were Jason and James Graham of Fort Collins, brothers of the bride, Shawn Hock of Lincoln, cousin of the bride, and Zac Lowing of Chicago, uncle of the bridegroom.
The guest book attendants were Lynette Hock and Denise Kuehn, both of Omaha and both cousins of the bride.
Mary Lou Lybarger of Fort Collins was the organist and Theresa Hock of Lincoln, cousin of the bride, were the soloists. Sharlene Hock of Culbertson, cousin of the bride, was the violinist and Theresa Hock was the accompanist.
Ron Colling of Osceola, godfather of the bride, Patti White of Myrtle Beach, S.C., cousin of the bridegroom and Carol Hock of Culbertson, aunt of the bride, were readers at the ceremony.
The reception was at the Fort Collins Senior Center. The host couples were Ron and Joyce Colling of Osceola, godparents of the bride, Brad and Mary Hock of Culbertson, uncle and aunt of the bride, and Leslie Calvello of Lake Geneva, Wis., aunt of the bridegroom.
The cake was made and served by Cathy Burnham of Loveland. Other cake servers were Janice Corcoran of Fort Collins, aunt of the bride, and Betty Brownfield of Farrigut, Iowa, cousin of the bride.
The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The bride is a senior at Colorado State University. The bridegroom is a graduate of Colorado State University and is employed as a software engineer at Sopheon in Denver.
The couple is making their home in Loveland, Colo.
