Presidential search meeting Tuesday

The public is invited to attend one of two presidential search forums Tuesday.

Dr. Dan Moriaty, MPCCA's presidential search consultant will lead a public discussion designed to help formulate a profile of the next president for the Mid-Plains Community College Area.

The first public presidential profile forum will be at the Theater on MPCCA' McDonald-Belton Campus in North Platte from 1-2 p.m.

A second forum will be at Tipton Hall Mini-Theater at McCook Community College from 4:15-5:15 p.m.

The public forums at North Platte and McCook are just two of several sessions planned throughout the day. Moriaty will also work with MPCCA students, faculty, staff, administrators and the Board of Governors to help develop a profile of the type of person, with the proper skills and management style required to effectively lead the Mid-Plains Community College Area.

As per Nebraska State Law, anytime a quorum of Mid-Plains Community College Area Board members are present at a meeting pertaining to institutional business, the public must be informed prior to the gathering.

Therefore, it is possible that more than five members Mid-Plains Community College Area Board of Governors may be in attendance at the forums.
