Christmas concert Sunday

McCOOK, Nebraska -- The annual McCook Area Community Choir concert at 4 p.m., Sunday, at Memorial United Methodist Church, is a beautiful way to begin the Christmas season.

Amber and Barbara Leising will provide prelude music on piano and cello. In addition to some carols, both traditional and modern, Central Starz will sing and an 18-piece string ensemble will accompany the choir on four selections from Handel's Messiah.

A soup supper will follow the concert. A free will donation will be accepted at both the concert and the soup supper.
