Tuesday, November 20, 2012

McCOOK, Nebraska -- 20-year-old Stathis Sebastian Mobley Kirkpatrick was sentenced to life imprisonment today for the 2011 murder of a 14-year-old McCook girl, Kailee Nichole Clapp.

Kirkpatrick accepted a plea agreement in September that pleaded no contest to first degree premeditated murder. During the sentencing hearing today, Red Willow County District Court Judge David Urbom sentenced Kirkpatrick to the mandatory sentence, "not less than life imprisonment, nor more than life imprisonment, with the Nebraska Department of Corrections."
