Extension board vacancy open

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension in Red Willow County is served by a seven member board of volunteers.

Board members provide financial oversight and direction for local programs in agriculture, family and consumer science and the 4-H youth development program.

The board currently has one vacancy in the area of the county served by the County Commissioner District 1.

Registered voters interested in serving on the board should contact Adam Heskett, Board president at 340-8693 or Mary K. Warner, Extension Educator/Unit Leader at 345-3390 by November 30.

Appointments to the board are subject to approval by the Red Willow County Commissioners.
