The family of Dr. Michael and Linda (Hector) Nielsen of McCook, Nebraska, will host an open house in honor the couples' 40th wedding anniversary. They were married June 3, 1972 ,at St. John's Lutheran Church (Old Stone Church) of rural of Auburn, Nebraska. Their family includes children, Amy and Robert Stanley of Big Springs, Nebraska, Andrew and Laura Nielsen of Blaine, Minnesota, Adrienne and Guang Zhang of Medina, Minnesota and six grandchildren.
