Katie Jo Gill and JD Stone, both of Kearney, Nebraska and formerly of McCook, Nebraska, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Parents of the bride to be are Dwaine Charles and Rebecca Lee Gill of Palisade, Nebraska. Grandparents are Larry Duane and Patricia Joyce Gill of Palisade.
Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Donna M. Stone of McCook and James Roger and Hannah Stone of Kearney. Grandparents are Don and Aggie Roberts of McCook and Jim and JoAnne Stone of Sun City West, Arizona.
The bride to be is a McCook High School graduate and graduated from Joseph's School of Cosmetology in Kearney. She works at Tangles Salon in Kearney.
The prospective bridegroom is also a MHS graduate and and graduated from University of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in Construction Management. He has accepted a job with McCarthy Construction in Phoenix, Arizona.
The couple is moving to Phoenix this summer, returning to McCook for the wedding, then returning to Phoenix.
A July 28 2012, wedding is planned at St. Patrick's Church in McCook.
