NORTH PLATTE, Nebraska -- Mid Plains Community College governors plan a work session at 4 p.m. Wednesday and a regular meeting at 6:30 in Room 200 at the W.W. Wood Building, 1101 Halligan Drive on the North Campus as North Platte Community College.

The work session will include a presentation on dual enrollment, discussion of policy changes and a budget update.

The regular meeting will include Second reading on a number of policies, possible action on salary guidelines and pay scales, replacement of a bus for McCook Community College, and an annual maintenance contract on a student information system and renewal of a three-year extension of the college's online course platform.

The governors also will consider creating full-time coordinator positions at the Broken Bow, Ogallala and Imperial Extended Campuses.

Reports will be received on the CAST center, enrollment, bordering state tuition follow-up, a capital improvement and ADA/Hazmat report, and a report from Interim President Ryan Purdy.

In April, the board, which will meet in McCook April 25, will hear reports on a market analysis, viability and options for the Fire Science Program, community input session analysis, a PACE follow-up and, in June, program review follow-ups on dental assisting, graphic design and HVAC.
