OBERLIN, Nebraska -- Lois B. Larson, 85, of Oberlin, died Sunday (March 18, 2012), at Decatur Health Systems in Oberlin.

She was born Oct. 9, 1926, to William and Edith(Hinshaw) Haas in Preston, Kansas.

She attended Preston Junion/Senior HIgh School and St. Rose School of Nursing in Great Bend, Kansas.

She married Wayne Larson May 6, 1951, in Natoma, Kansas. They farmed seven miles southwest of Oberlin.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Edith Haas and brother, Robert Haas.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Larson of Oberlin; two sons, Craig and wife, Karen Larson and Brad Larson, all of Oberlin; daughters, Joanne and husband, Norman Wendelin of Oberlin, Bonnie and husband, Bill Condit of Winfield and Suzanne and husband, Jay Cooper of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Dorathe Eleanor Wiltshire of Pratt; 15 granchildren; one great-grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

Services are Thursday, March 22 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Oberlin with the Rev. Rick Rosek officiating. Interment will be at the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Thursday, 8 a.m. until time of service.

Memorials may be given to the Lois Larson Memorial Fund.
