County to discuss training, budgets

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Red Willow County, Nebraska, commissioners will discuss training and budgets during their weekly meeting, scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., Monday in their office on the third floor of the courthouse in McCook, Nebraska.

At 9:15 a.m., commissioners will decide who wants to attend a training conducted by the National Institute of Corrections, Nebraska Jail Standards and University of Nebraska Department of Criminal Justice in Kearney in September.

Board members will discuss, at 9:30 a.m., a request for $9,616 from Domestic Abuse/Sexual Assault Services for the organization's 2011-12 budget. This is the same amount budgeted by commissioners for DA/SA for 2010-2011.

Commissioners will conduct a budget 2011-12 workshop at 10 a.m.
