BENKELMAN, Nebraska - Vivian Lucille (Bradley) Osborn, 89, died Thursday (Jan. 6, 2011), at Dundy County Hospital in Benkelman.

She was born Dec. 18, 1921, in Agra, Kansas to Charles and Emma (Losey) Bradley. In 1924, she moved to Benkelman with her family. As a teenager, she worked in a restaurant with her mother to help out her family.

In 1940, she married Glen Osborn in St. Francis Kansas. Together they raised two children, Jim and Glenda, on their farm north of Benkelman. Throughout her adult life, she served as a housewife and also helped on the farm.

She was a member of the Benkelman United Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Emma Bradley; her husband, Glen; brothers, Floyd, Lloyd, Irwin, and Billy; her sisters, Delna Gunther and Mary Carey; and granddaughter, April Osborn.

She is survived by her son, Jim Osborn and wife, Lynne of Benkelman; daughter, Glenda Campbell and Mike Campbell of Lincoln, Nebraska; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren

Funeral services were today at Forch Funeral Chapel in Benkelman with Marcine Farmer, PMA, officiating. Interment followed services at the Benkelman Cemetery.
