Harms, Hazlitt exchange vows
McCOOK, Nebraska -- Aimee Leigh Harms of Culbertson, Nebraska, and Mitchell William Hazlitt of McCook were united in marriage on May 22, 2010, at Peace Lutheran Church in McCook with the Rev. Tom Albertson officiating.
Parents of the couple are Sandy Harms of Hayes Center, Nebraska, the late Alan Harms and Monte and Mary Hazlitt of McCook. Grandparents of the bride are Marvin and Betty Harms of Culbertson and Ben and Joyce Neuenschwander of Culbertson. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Bob and Ann Hazlitt of Selden, Kansas, Ruth Shields of McCook and the late Howard Shields.
The maid of honor was Kayla Bauer of Culbertson. The bridesmaids were Amy Frecks of Brewster, Nebraska, Josie Rosno of Hayes Center, Kerri Mueller of Lincoln, Nebraska, and sister of the bridegroom, Lindsey Hazlitt of McCook. The bride's personal attendants were Lily Bowman of Hayes Center, Cate Carothers of Lincoln and BreAnn Cakebread of Norfolk, Nebraska.
The best man was brother of the bridegroom, Brent Hazlitt of McCook. The bridegroomsmen were Trent Lyons, Shawn Smith, Ross Sis and Mason Pohl, all of McCook.
The ushers were Todd Bauer of Culbertson, Adam Haag of McCook, Kip Bradley of McCook and Dave Messinger of McCook.
The flower girl was niece of the bridegroom, Cinamon Hazlitt of McCook. The ring bearer was nephew of the bridegroom, Kellen Weber of McCook.
The candlelighters were cousins of the bride, Alyssa Curl of Omaha, Nebraska, and Alexis Davison of Denver, Colorado.
The guest book and program attendants were Kayla Wilson of McCook and Mary Gohl of Hayes Center. Music was provided by pianist and mother of the bride, Sandy Harms and vocalist Kayla Laird of Hayes Center.
A reception took place at the Red Willow County Community Building.
The bride is a graduate of Hayes Center High School and works at Hamilton Hair Creation and Horizon Bank. The bridegroom works at Wagner Ford Mercury Toyota.
The couple honeymooned at the Grand Ocho Rios in Jamaica and resides in McCook.
