Abbee Alece Haney and Michael Jay James announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Parents of the couple are Rick and Cassa Haney of McCook, and John and Jayne James of Nebraska City. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Bill and Sandie Roth of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, Glenn and Judi Haney of McCook. Great grandparents are Ruth and Wendell Hull of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of McCook High School and graduated in 2010 with a master's degree in speech pathology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She is employed as a Speech Pathologist in Fremont.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Nebraska City High School and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He is employed as an English teacher and coach at Fremont Middle School in Fremont.
A July 24, 2010, wedding is planned at Kearney.
