McCOOK, Nebraska -- Kendra Wallace and Scott Lafferty, both of McCook, were united in marriage on Feb. 13, 2010, at the United Methodist Church of McCook with the Rev. Lance Clay officiating.

Parents of the couple are Donald Lafferty of McCook, the late Linda Lafferty, Ronald Wallace of Douglas, Nebraska, and Vera Wilson of McCook.

Grandfather of the bridegroom is Cecil Lafferty of McCook.

The matron of honor was sister of the bride, Christy Morgan of McCook. The bridesmaids were Michelle Lamaak of McCook and Kristi Eggers of Culbertson. The flower girl was cousin of the bridegroom, Audrey Trimble of Hopkins, Missouri.

The best man was Travis Rose of Lincoln and the bridegroomsmen were Anthony Meyers of Lincoln and Doug Stiber of McCook. Ring bearer was Austin Meyers of Lincoln. Escorting the bride to be given away was uncle of the bridegroom, John Lafferty of Kearney.

Guest book attendant was Barb Meyers of Lincoln, the candle lighters were cousins of the bridegroom, Stephanie and Megan Lafferty of Kearney. Ushers were Shane Burkey of McCook, nephew of the bride, Robert Morgan of McCook and Luke Gonzalez of McCook.

The bride graduated from McCook Senior High School in 1999 and is self-employed.

The bridegroom graduated from McCook Senior High School in 1998 and attended Goodland Vocational Technical School. He is now employed with Parde Electric.

The couple honeymooned in Black Hills, South Dakota, and lives in McCook.
