Maude Mae Elliott

BIRD CITY, Kansas -- Maude Mae Elliott, 96, died Sunday (April 25, 2010) at Cheyenne County Hospital.

She was born Jan. 28, 1914, at Naponee, Nebraska.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carles "Irl" Elliott in 1992.

Survivors include her son, Bill Elliott of Amarillo, Texas; two daughters, Beverly Steinert of Carson City, Nevada and Becky Babcock of Castle Pines, Colorado; 10 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Services are Friday, 2 p.m. (CDT), at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Bird City, Kansas. Interment to follow at Bird City Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. (CDT), at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis.

Memorials may be given to the church or the Bird City Senior Center.
