OMAHA -- Russell L. Podoll, 50, died Monday (April 5, 2010) in Omaha.

He was born on Dec. 22, 1959, in Fond du Lac, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Podoll; and brother, Rick Podoll.

Survivors include his wife, Sara (Schwisow) Podoll; his mother, Ruth Hull; one son, Jessie Ives; step-children, Tiffany and Shawn Schwisow; brothers, Daniel Podoll, James Podoll and Gary Waite; sisters, Barbara Miller, Virginia Preston, and Ruth Iwaski; step-brother, Charlie Clark; and step-sisters, Patti Clark and Charlotte Dailey.

Services will be Sunday, April 18, 2 p.m., at the United Methodist Church in Palisade.

The Arbor Society of Omaha is in charge of the arrangements.
