CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- Ralph E. Spradlin, 87, formerly of Imperial, died Saturday (April 3, 2010) at Lifecare Center of Cheyenne.

He was born Dec. 24, 1922, in Metaline Falls, Wash., to Edward and Alice (Carver) Spradlin.

He served in the U.S. Army.

On July 30, 1950, he married Mary Ann Dettman at Imperial.

He was a sales representative for John Deere.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, the Masonic Purity Lodge No. 198 A.F. & A.M. of Imperial, Order of Eastern Star in Imperial, Tehoma (Shrine) Temple A.A.O.N.M.S of Hastings, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, S.J. USA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Spradlin; his parents, Edward and Alice Spradlin; sisters, Helen Morris and Sarah Mullenax; and a brother, Leo Spradlin.

Survivors include his children, Kevin Spradlin of Clarkston, Wash., Carolyn Sue Sorenson of Greeley, Colo., Thomas W. Spradlin of Fort Collins, Colo., and Craig Spradlin of Cheyenne, Wyo.; brothers, Robert Wayne Spradlin of Denver, Colo., and Roy Spradlin of Denver, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Friday, 11 a.m., at Grace United Methodist Church in Cheyenne with the Rev. Jon Laughlin officiating. Interment of his urn will be in Imperial. Cremation has taken place at Schrader's Sunset Park Crematory.
