Lacy, Jeffers wedding
RIVIERA MAYA, Mexico -- Cheyenne Lacy and Cody Jeffers, both of Hayes Center, were united in marriage Nov. 25, 2009, at Riviera Maya, Mexico, with Judge Estela Sánchez officiating.
Parents of the couple are Leanne Lacy of Cozad, Joe and Margaret Lacy of Garden City, Kan., Beverly Brush of Bonney Lake, Wash., and Larry and Lynn Jeffers of Palisade.
The matron of honor was Ashley Rutan of North Platte,and Conna Wiese of Lincoln, sister of the bridegroom was the bridesmaid.
Brother of the bridegroom, Christopher Jeffers of Houston, Texas, was the best man and Larry Jeffers of Palisade, father of the bridegroom, was the bridegroomsman.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Cozad High School and graduated from Chadron State College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She is employed with the Hayes Center School District in Hayes Center.
The bridegroom graduated from Hayes Center High School in 1998 and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business finance and a Bachelor of Science degree in business management. He is employed with Jeffers Farms, Inc., of Hayes Center.
The couple is residing at 35501 RD 736 in Wauneta.
