Dorothy Pauline (Blair) Lytle, 86, died Friday (Jan. 8, 2010), at Cambridge Manor.

Dorothy was born on Dec. 7, 1923, in McCook to Clair E. and Iva E. (Winters) Blair. She lived in McCook all of her life.

On July 28, 1942, she was united in marriage to Marvin Dale Lytle in McCook. She was a busy homemaker and mother to their two children, Kip and Gena. She also worked at Woolworth's, JC Penney and for CB&Q Railroad. She retired in 1982.

Dorothy enjoyed camping, boating, crocheting and flower gardening. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Marvin Lytle on Oct. 8, 1998; her parents, Clair and Iva Blair; and brother, Paul Blair.

Survivors include her son, Kip Lytle and wife, Cheryl of Indianola; daughter, Gena and husband, Joel Power of Blue Springs, Mo.; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, Brian Lytle and his children, Thad and Bailee; Christy Lytle and her children, Trevor, Karissa, Tyler, Trey and Riley; Stacy and Josh Price and their children, Tanner and Preston; Jason Lytle; Shelby Lytle; Selina and Dan Mulder and their children, Logan, Boone, Hailee and Tucker; Erica and Robert Rios; and Lucas Power; and sister-in-law, Florence Lytle of Twin Falls, Idaho.

Memorials may be given in her name.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 11 a.m., at Carpenter Breland Chapel with Pastor Steve Bales officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be today until 8 p.m.
