WATERLOO, Iowa --Sarah Gress and Brandon Wheeler were united in marriage Oct. 10, 2009, in Waterloo, Iowa, at the Five Sullivan Brother's Convention Center with Trish Meaney officiating.

Parents of the couple are Chico and Peggy Gress of Waterloo, Iowa, Renee and Joe Bajza of Gypsum, Colo., and Dean Wheeler of Trenton.

Maid of honor was Jessie Gress, sister of the bride, of Des Moines, Iowa. Bridesmaids were Ashley Atherton of Hattiesburg, Miss., Kristin Hinds of Waterloo, Heather Plum of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Amanda Wood of McCook.

The flower girl was Brandi Gordon, niece of the bridegroom, of Gypsum.

The best man was Joey Bajza, brother of the bridegroom, of Gypsum.

Bridegroomsmen were Jeremy Cock of Kearney, Jerome Hollenhors of Bartley, Casey Meguire of McCook and Travis Hubl of Trenton.

Ushers were Chris Roberts of Ottumwa, Iowa, Adam Gress of Waterloo and Corey Gress of Cedar Rapids, both cousins of the bride.

Jake Schaefer of Waterloo provided the music.

Following the ceremony, a reception was at the Five Sullivan Brother's Convention Center in Waterloo.

Cake servers were Patty Brown, aunt of the bride and Paula Matson, aunt of the bridegroom. Mike and Barb Varco, aunt and uncle of the bride, were hosts of the wedding.

Guestbook attendants were Lauren Gram, cousin of the bride, of Hudson, Iowa and Lena Bajza, sister of the bridegroom, of Gypsum.

Program attendant was Emma Matson, cousin of the bridegroom, of Ponca City, Okla.

The couple honeymooned on a cruise to Mexico, followed with a weekend in New Orleans, La.

The bride is a May 2009 Graduate of the University of Nebraska-Kearney with degrees in history and women's studies. She is employed with Family Skill Building of North Platte, as a Youth and Family Specialist.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Lakeside Central High School in Trenton and is a self-employed farmer.

The couple resides in McCook.
