Robert 'Bob' Hancock Jr.

Robert "Bob" Hancock Jr. 55, died Friday (Sept. 11, 2009) at McCook.

He was born March 1, 1954, at Council Bluffs, Iowa to Robert and Florene Rose (Nixon) Hancock, Sr. He lived in Morrison, Colo., where he was employed with the railroad as an engineer. He often traveled to McCook with the railroad where he had made many friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Tonja Boatman.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Florene Hancock of Golden, Colo.: daughter, Heather Porter and husband, Butch of Milan, N.M.; three brothers, Craig Hancock of Council Bluffs, David Hancock of Morrison and Brian Hancock of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren; and a host of friends.

A memorial service was today at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel in Lakewood, Colo.
