WEC offender apprehended

An offender who attempted to walk away from the Nebraska Department of Corrections Work Ethic Camp in McCook was apprehended within 12 minutes.
Antonio Minor, 19, of Omaha, absconded Thursday at about 1:14 p.m. and was quickly taken into custody by staff and the Nebraska State Patrol.
Minor was sentenced to the Work Ethic Camp on April 20 from Douglas County on a Class II robbery charge. Minor will return to Douglas County where he will appear before a District Court Judge.
