RANDOLPH -- Arlene Beth Rauch, longtime McCook resident, died Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, at Colonial Manor in Randolph. She was 83.

She was born July 5, 1926, in Wheeler, Kan., to Arthur B. and May Ethel (Evans) Grosch. She attended school in Bartley and the McCook Beauty Academy.

In recent years, she resided at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Randolph, where her daughter-in-law, Dola Rauch is the Director of Nursing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ethel Grosch and by her brothers, Harold, Marion and Wilbur Grosch.

She is survived by her four children, Cheryl Greunke and husband, Alvin of Saint Charles, Mo. Debra Rauch of Lodi, N.Y., Stephen Rauch and wife, Dolarita of Pierce and Michael Rauch and wife, Beverly of Westminster, Colo.

She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at the Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, at 1 p.m. with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. A private inurnment service will follow at the Bartley Cemetery.
