PHILLIPSBURG, Kan. -- Maxine Robinson, 77, died Tuesday (Feb. 10, 2009) at Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg, Kan.

She was born Jan. 9, 1932, in Stamford, to Lawrence and Yvonne (Bundy) Satter. She grew up in Furnas County.

On Oct. 15, 1955, she married Leonard M. Robinson at her parents' home in Stamford. They lived in Phillipsburg, where she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Yvonne Satter.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard of Phillipsburg; sons, Leonard of Smith Center, Kan., and Gary of Phillipsburg; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, 10:30 a.m., at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel in Phillipsburg with the Rev. Joel Hiesterman officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Phillipsburg.

There is no visitation, her casket will be closed. Friends may sign her book from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Monday until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice Services or the KSU Center for Basic Cancer Research.
