Meagan and Adam Hock

KEARNEY -- Meagan Elizabeth Fong of Kenesaw and Adam John Hock of Culbertson were united in marriage June 2, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Kearney. The Rev. Dale Phillips officiated.

Parents of the couple are Scott and Karen Fong of Kenesaw and George and Kathry Hock of Culbertson. Grandparents of the bride are Marvin and Lucille Stone of Kearney, Marilyn Dester of Kearney,Mary Ann Fong of Elwood and the late Duane Fong. Parents of the bridegroom are the late Leslie and Maxine Hock and the late Frank and Eula Campbell.

Matron of honor was Karli Havens of Kearney. Bridesmaids were Christina Nelms, aunt of the bride, of Kansas City and Elizabeth Hock, sister of the bridegroom, of Culbertson. Bride's attendant was Brian Osler of Kenesaw.

Matthew Hock, brother of the bridegroom, of Culbertson, served as best man. Bridegroomsmen were Andrew Hock, brother of the bridegroom, of New Braunfels, Texas, Edward Hock, brother of the bridegroom, of Culbertson and Timothy Nelms, uncle of the bride, of Kansas City.

Ushers were Neal Hock, cousin of the bridegroom, of Culbertson, Jedidiah Fong, cousin of the bride and Micah Fong, cousin of the bride, both of Riverdale and Don Happner of Lincoln. Organist was Melissa Carlson of Kearney and soloist was Christina Nelms of Kansas City.

The reception was at the Minden Opera House in Minden. Guestbook attendant was Abigail Fong of Kearney. Host couples were Mark and Peggy Fong of Riverdale, Dan and Sandy Fong of Kearney, Lyndon and Lisa Stone of Longmont, Colo., Blain and Lori Johnson of Adams and Robert and Rita Johnson of Cozad.

The bride is a student at the University of Nebraska-Kearney studying Interior Design and will graduate in May 2008. The bridegroom has a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and works for the University of Kansas in Lawerence, Kan.,

After a honeymoon in Lincoln, the couple resides at Lawrence.
