Lesley Nelson and Erik Borger

Lesley Nelson of McCook and Erik Borger of St. Joseph, Mo., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Wayne and Kris Nelson of McCook, Andy Borger and Linda Borger of St. Joseph, Mo.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 McCook High School graduate and is attending Missouri Western State University, majoring in English/Journalism.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 graduate from Central High School in St. Joseph, and will graduate in December from Missouri Western State University with a degree in Health and Exercise Science.

A June 23, 2007, outdoor wedding is planned at Riverfront Park in St. Joseph, Mo.
