 BISMARCK, N.D. -- Judy Ann Wilcox, 61,  formerly of Stockville, died Monday (Oct. 16, 2006) at St. Alexis Medical Center in Bismarck, N.D., of cancer.

She was born April 30, 1945, in Wichita, Kan., to Richard and Audrey (Cole) Malloy.

She moved with her family to Stockville, and in 1954, they returned to Wichita. In 1958, they moved to Sidney, where she graduated from high school. She moved to Casper, Wyo., where she worked for a telephone company.

On Dec. 1, 1969, She married Donald G. Wilcox in Casper. Judy and Don lived in Riverton, Wyo., and in 1986 moved to Billings, Mont., where they resided until moving to Sheridan, Wyo., in 1990, where they operated a construction business. In 2001, they retired and purchased a ranch near Carson, N.D., where they have resided since.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, Don, of Carson; four daughters, Torie Hutchins, of Bismarck, Shanel Shanahan of Cheyenne, Wyo., Tracie and husband, Kirt Pyle, of Casper and Brenda and Jim Haskett of Sheridan; one brother, Michael Malloy of Sheridan; one sister, Diane Crapson-Raggio of Dallas, Texas; 14 grandchildren: and one great-grandson.

Funeral services are today, 11 a.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church in Carson, with the Rev. Dale Carmen officiating.

Graveside services will be Monday, 11 a.m., at the Arbor Cemetery at Stockville with the Rev. Kevin Burkhardt officiating.

Visitation was Wednesday at the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Elgin, ND.

A second visitation will be Sunday, noon to 8 p.m., at Blase-Wetzel-Strauser Funeral Home in Curtis.

Donations can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or to the Ronald McDonald House.

Blase-Wetzel-Strauser Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
