Earnest R. 'Ernie' Fetty

RAYMOND, Ohio -- Earnest R. "Ernie Fetty, 66, died at his home Saturday (May 13, 2006).

He was born Oct. 24, 1939 in Delaware to Edward and Geneva Fetty.

He retired in 2002 from GI Plastex as an inspector.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Fetty in January 1994; a brother Robert "Bob" Fetty in 2004; and a great-nephew, Patrick S. Sheets in 2006.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Schilling Stenger of Raymond; mother, Geneva Rutledge; a sister, Kitty and husband, Henry Sramek, all of Palisade; sons, Jerry and wife Teresa Stenger of West Liberty, Ohio, Jeff and wife, Christina Stender of Marion, Ohio, and Joe and wife, Melissa Stenger of Marysville, Ohio; his mother-in-law, Marie Schilling of Marysville; three brothers-in-law, Russ and wife, Mae Schilling of Marion, Roger and wife, Roberta Schilling and Ron and wife, Linda Schilling all of Marysville; sister-in-law Betty and husband, Butch Wood of Raymond; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Underwood Funeral Home in Marysville with the Rev. Jerry McQueen officiating. Burial will be at Broadway Cemetery.
