Robert Paul Malleck, 68, died Sunday (Jan. 15, 2006) at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

He was born Jan. 30, 1937, in Indianola, to Charles L. and Lorene Agnes (Weskamp) Malleck. He graduated from Red Willow High School in 1955 and attended McCook Community College.

He was a member St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the McCook Elk's Lodge.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher; his parents, Charles and Lorene Malleck; and one brother, Darrel Malleck.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn of McCook; son, Ray and wife, Joyce Malleck of Holyoke, Colo.; three daughters, Joan and husband, Randy Bass of Culbertson, Kellie and husband, Jim Mullen and Cheryl and husband, Deon Leitner, all of McCook; four brothers, Kenneth and wife, Nita Malleck and Gene and wife, Marjorie Malleck, all of McCook, Archie and wife, In Suk Malleck of Kileen, Texas, and Loyce and wife, Marilyn Malleck of Denver, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; two stepgrandchildren; and five step-great-granddaughters.

Services will be Friday, 10 a.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Rev. Brethour officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Rosary will be Thursday, 7 p.m., at Carpenter Breland Chapel in McCook. Visitation will be today, until 5 p.m., Wednesday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Thursday, until time of rosary.
