MCDONALD, Kan. -- Robert Albert Reeh, 47, died Monday (Nov. 14, 2005) from Hodgkin's Disease.

He was born Aug. 2, 1958, in Atwood to Albert and Agnes (Sabatka) Reeh. He grew up on the family farm north of Beardsley, Kan. He attended McDonald High School and graduated from the Cheylin School District. He received a degree in agribusiness from Fort Hays State University.

He returned home to farm with his father.

He married Jolene Riley at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in rural Atwood on Sept. 21, 1985.

He served as Rocewood Township treasurer and was on the St. John's parish council. He was a Beardsley Equity Coop board member and a member of Knights of Columbus. He was involved in adult Christian education, was a Bible study leader and taught CCD.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert, and grandparents, Joseph and Pauline Sabatka and Paul and Cledy Reeh.

Survivors include his wife, Jolene; children, Naomi and Kenan; mother, Agnes Reeh of Atwood; sisters, Lynaire Reeh of Denver, Lorraine Reeh of Denver, Michelle Reeh of Atwood and Maureen BeDillion and husband, Nyle of Denver; parents-in-law, Maurice and RoseMary Riley of Iola, Kan.; and eight nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 10 a.m., at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in rural Atwood with Revs. Damian Richards and Felix Petrovsky officiating. Interment will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in rural Atwood.

A parish vigil and rosary will be Wednesday, 7 p.m., at the church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Atwood and after 6 p.m. at the church.

Williams Funeral Home of Atwood is in charge of arrangements.
