LINCOLN -- Janet Lynn Williams, 52, formerly of Beaver City and Oxford, died Sunday (Oct. 23, 2005) at the Lancaster Manor in Lincoln.

She was born March 10, 1953, in Norton to Charles and Evelyn (Bishop) Williams.

She lived in the Beatrice State Home from 1959 until 1962. She returned to Beaver City where she lived until 1973, when she moved to Oxford to reside at Mid-Nebraska Services. She moved to the Lancaster Manor in 2005.

She worked for many years at Mid-Nebraska's workshop.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include six sisters, Mary and husband, Darel Perkins of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., Elaine and husband, Roger Magstadt of South Sioux City, Ada Pitts of Dumfries, Va., Ann and husband, Tom Bussey of Lincoln, Sandra Weaver of Lincoln and Karen and husband, Tim of Stuttgart, Germany; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Wednesday, 1:30 p.m., at Grace Brethren Church in Beaver City with the Rev. Dwain Fowler officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Creek Cemetery in rural Beaver City.

Visitation will be Tuesday, 1-8 p.m., at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City and prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City is in charge of arrangements.
