Benjamin and Katherine Siegfried

TAOS, N.M. -- Katherine Louise Jones of Holcomb, Kan., and Benjamin LaMoine Siegfried of Garden City, Kan., were united in marriage Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Taos, N.M., with the Rev. Larry Brito officiating.

Parents of the couple are Larry and Becky Jones of Holcomb, Kan., Beth Siegfried of McCook and Cal Siegfried of McCook.

Grandparents of the couple are Richard and Betty Schreibvogel of Garden City, Kan., Ethyl Siegfried of McCook and Joan Burger of McCook.

Kelsey Jones of Holcomb, Kan., served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Rome of Wichita, Kan., and Nadine Nowicki of Wetter, Germany.

The best man was Adam Siegfried of McCook. Bridegroomsmen were Marcus Clapp of Kearney and Sam Ord of McCook.

Ushers were Laramie Jones of Colorado Springs, Colo., Kahlen Jones of Garden City, Kan., Jordan Jones of Holcomb, Kan., Jason Timmerman of Holyoke, Colo., and Jon Olsen of Independence, Kan.

Madison and Mallory Koepke of McCook were the candle lighters. Benjamin Davidson of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Cooper Diel of Ottawa, Kan., were the ring bearers.

Soloist, David Miller of Garden City, Kan., and organist, Neil from Taos, N.M., provided music for the ceremony.

The reception was at the Angel Fire Community Building in Angel Fire, N.M. The reception was given by the parents of the couple. Reception assistants were Megan Hubin of Ottawa, Kan., Sarah Jones of Garden City, Kan., and Jennifer Jones of Holcomb, Kan.

The couple honeymooned with a cruise through the inner passage of Alaska.

The bride is a graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor's in life science. She is attending the nursing program at Newman University and is a lab assistant at St. Catherine Hospital. The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a bachelor's in agriculture and economics. He is employed with Lextron Animal Health.

The couple is making their home in Garden City, Kan.
