Dorothee Marie Margarethe Wolters

ATWOOD -- Dorothee "Dorothy" Marie Margarethe Wolters, 77, died Sunday (July 3, 2005) at Rawlins County Health Center in Atwood.

She was born Aug. 8, 1927, in Ludell, Kan., to Gustav J. and Bertha P. (Castens) Wolters. She attended parochial school at Trinity Lutheran School in Ludell and was an avid quilter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Henry Wolters, and "Pete" Wolters and his wife, Joan; and two nieces, Teresa Wolters and Suzanne (Wolters) Hodge.

Survivors include her brother, Gustav and wife, Elsie Wolters of Oberlin; sister Margaret Misher and husband, Glen of Wichita, Kan.; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were July 7, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Atwood, with the Rev. Don White officiating.

Memorials may be made to the "Lutheran Hour" or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Brantley Funeral Home of Atwood was in charge of the arrangements.
