Jill and Brad Lauer

Jill Margaret McConville and Brad Michael Lauer were united in marriage Sept. 4, 2004, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McCook with the Rev. Gary Brethour officiating.

Parents of the couple are Bill and Sandy McConville of Culbertson and Ron and Deb Lauer of McCook.

Grandparents of the couple are Ron and Jacki McKillip, LaMoine and Garnet McConville, Eldon and Fay Barenberg and Herb and Velma Lauer, all of McCook.

The bride wore an airy, A-line, organza, white satin gown with a side-pleated bodice. It had Venice lace appliques, an aproned front skirt and a cathedral-length train and shawl. She wore a jeweled tiara and carried a bouquet of wine colored and white calla lilies. The bridegroom wore a black, single-breasted tuxedo with satin, notched lapels and platinum Windsor ties and fullback vests.

Sister of the bride, Sara Eisenmenger of Kansas City, Mo., was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Leah Johnson of Lincoln, sister of the bride, and Bailey Lauer of McCook, sister of the bridegroom. They each wore a wine-colored, floor-length, A-line, matte satin dress featuring beading on the bodice and pleated waists. They carried bouquets of white calla lilies.

The best man was Tyler Wilcox of McCook. Bridegroomsmen were Chris Wilson of Omaha and Sheldon Martin of McCook. They each wore black tuxedos simular to the bridegrooms.

The flower girl was Natalie Eisenmenger of Kansas city, niece of the bride. She wore a floor-length, A-line, white satin dress with spaghetti straps and a shawl. The dress featured a side-gathered organza overlay with beading and sequins. She carried a white, satin basket filled with flower petals.

Kaden Johnson of Lincoln, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Easton Gillen of McCook, nephew of the bridegroom, was the Bible carrier.

Ushers for the ceremony were Eric Eisenmenger of Kansas City and Todd Johnson of Lincoln, brothers-in-law of the bride. Junior ushers were Nicholas Eisenmenger and Tyler Johnson, nephews of the bride.

Lisa Wemhoff of Omaha and Cheri Wemhoff of Orlando, Fla., cousins of the bride, were the bride's personal attendants.

The organist was Crinda McConville of Indianola and Kerry Abercrombie, of McCook, was the soloist. The offertory family was Dave, JoAnn, Justin and Logan Barenberg, uncle, aunt and cousins of the bridegroom. Judy Dickie, aunt of the bride, served as a reader, and Larry Porter was the acolyte. Altar servers were Carson and Wyatt Kain of McCook. The guestbook attendant was Danielle Barenberg of McCook, cousin of the bridegroom. Kelsey and Kassidy Gillen of McCook, cousins of the bridegroom, were program and favor attendants. The gift attendant was Emily Volquardsen of McCook.

Host couples for the reception were Dale and Kathy Wemhoff of Norfolk, uncle and aunt of the bride, and Lance and Denise Gillen of McCook, uncle and aunt of the bridegroom. Serving at the cake table were Diana Trout of Caldwell, Idaho, godmother of the bride, Betty Dodd of Virginia Beach, Va., aunt of the bride, Rita McConville of Indianola, aunt of the bride, and Danna Puckett of Boise, Idaho.

The couple honeymooned in Steamboat Springs, Colo.

They live in Chadron.
