Charlotte A. Wyss, 75, of Stratton, died Wednesday (May 19, 2004) at Community Hospital in McCook.

She was born July 21, 1928, to Elmer and Nova (Danielson) Dailey on the family's farm north of Stratton. She attended school near her home.She attended and graduated from Stratton High School. After high school, she attended college for two years before returning to the Stratton area where she taught school for a short time.

On Aug. 14, 1949, she married Howard B. Wyss in Stratton. The couple made their home on a farm southeast of Stratton.

She was a member of the Community United Methodist Church in Stratton, the United Methodist Women, the American Legion Auxiliary and she was active in the MGR Extension Club for many years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Daily; brother, Bob Daily; great-granddaughter, Margaret Eden; and nephew, Kurt Dailey.

Survivors include her husband, Howard of Stratton; mother, Nova Daily of Trenton; daughter, DeeAnn Eden and husband, Larry of McCook; son, Steve Wyss of McCook; two brothers, James Dailey and wife, Wyona of Stratton and Neal Dailey and wife, Bev of Las Cruces, N.M.; brother-in-law, Web Wyss of Stratton; and one grandson.

Services are Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Community United Methodist Church in Stratton with the Rev. Norman Prather officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Stratton.

Visitation is today, until 7 p.m., at Forch Funeral Chapel in Stratton.

Memorials may be given in her name.
