COLBY, Kans. -- Doris L. Huber, 85, died Monday (Feb. 4, 2002) at Rose Medical Center in Denver, Colo.

She was born Feb. 23, 1916, to Henry and Etta (Leefers) Tecklenburg at Fairbury. She later moved to the Rexford and Selden area in Kansas.

On April 20, 1938, she married John A. Huber in Sequin, Kan. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband John; and an infant daughter, Helen.

Survivors include one son, John Elwyn Huber and wife, Barbara of Hays, Kan.; one daughter, Barbara and husband, Charles Widick of Aurora, Colo.; one sister, Florence Gilchrist of Colby; and four grandchildren.

Services will be Friday, 2 p.m., at the Rexford Community Church in Rexford, Kan. with Pastor Gary Taylor and Rev. Francis Harwerth officiating. Interment will be in the Rexford Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 9 a.m to 8 p.m. at Pauls Funeral Home at Selden, and Friday from 9 a.m until the time of service at the church.

Memorials may be given in her name.
