Donna Jean Coykendall

NORTH PLATTE -- Donna Jean Coykendall, 74, died Thursday (May 23, 2002) at her home in North Platte.

She was born Feb. 5, 1928, to Leo and Pearl (Lawrence) Sellers at Wellfleet. She graduated from Maxwell High School in 1944.

On June 20, 1949, she married Orval Coykendall in North Platte.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Vernon and Lawrence; and two infant siblings.

Survivors include her husband, Orville of North Platte; one son, Dale Coykendall and wife, Barbara of Lone Tree, Colo.; one sister, Lois Hall of Brewster, Neb.; three brothers, Erceil Sellers and wife, Vera of Hayes Center, Harrison Sellers and wife, Marion of Wellfleet and Stanley Sellers and wife, DeVonna of Maywood; two sisters-in-law, Esther Sellers of Maywood and Shirley Sellers of North Platte; and two grandsons.

Services were today, 10 a.m., at Carpenter Memorial Chapel in North Platte with the Rev. David Lux officiating. Burial was at Floral Lawns Memorial Garden in North Platte.

A memorial has been established to the Great Plains Regional Medical Center Oncology Department.
