Joyce Irene (Bryant) Parker

ATWOOD -- Joyce Irene (Bryant) Parker, 60, died Monday (May 27, 2002) at her home in Atwood.

She was born Sept. 12, 1941, to Lester and Ruth (Bevens) Bryant at Norton. She attended grade school to the eight grade in the Norton school system. She lived in Norton, Kan., Colorado, Utah and Wyoming before making her home in Atwood.

She worked as a dispatcher for the Rawlins County Sheriff's Department for nineteen years. She was also a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and brother-in-law, Robert Houghton.

Survivors include her three sons, Steve Clouse of Atwood, Richard Clouse and wife, Shannon of Lincoln and Dennis Kalous and wife, Vivian of Martel, Neb.; a sister, Lucille Houghton of Atwood; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 10 a.m., at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Atwood with the Rev. David James officiating. Burial will be in the Atwood Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation is today until 9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
