DANBURY -- Robert Jeralee Foote, 67, died Tuesday (March 18, 2003) at the Great Plains Medical Center in North Platte.

He was born Aug. 25, 1935, at Denver, Colo., to Bernice and Dorothy (Johnson) Foote. He graduated from high school in Rawlins, Wyo., in 1953.

He and his wife, Judith (Brown), made their home in Danbury, where he was a retired truck driver.

He was confirmed as a child in the Catholic Church. He was a member of the McCook Black Powder Club, National Rifleman's Association, Colorado and Nebraska Muzzle Loaders Association, and National Muzzle Loader Rifle Association. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Bernice and Dorothy Foote.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of Danbury; four sons, Robert Foote and wife, Carole, of Boulder, Mont., Mark Foote and wife, Lisa, of Castle Rock, Colo., Jerry Foote of Denver, Colo., and Eric Foote of San Diego, Calif.; two step-sons, Doug Cowan of Erie, Colo., and Robert Bowen and wife, Sherri, of Thornton, Colo.; four daughters, Tami Savolainen of Littleton, Colo., Christine Dogen, Rachael and husband, Alfredo Ramirez and Victoria Foote all of San Diego, Calif.; one step-daughter, Virginia Hardy of Thornton, Colo.; four brothers, Donald Gaines and wife, Marguerite, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Charles Foote and wife, Judy, of Henderson, Nev., Al "Butch" Foote and wife, Terry, of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Tommy Foote and wife, Gertie, of Grand Junction, Colo.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later time.

Memorials may be given in his name and sent to the family. Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook is in charge of the arrangements.
