Corey and Mader wed in spring ceremony

FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. -- Alyssa Corey of McCook and Zachary Mader of Healy, Kan., were united in marriage March 15, 2003, at Specker Chapel in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., with Cmdr. M.S. Neubert officiating.

Parents of the couple are Tom and Nancy Corey of McCook, Tamara Piccone of Healy and Jeff Mader of Garden City, Kan. Grandparents of the couple are the late Joseph Corey, Charles and Mardelle Miller of Culbertson, Dave and Evelyn Nickerson of Edinburg, Texas, LaVonne and Emery Kelch of Healy, Kan., and Connie Mader of Garden City, Kan.

Mikayla O'Dea of McCook was the maid of honor and Joshua Sauer of Scott City, Kan., was the best man.

The flower girl was Bryanna Corey of McCook, daughter of the bride.

A reception will be at a later date when the bridegroom is on military leave.

The bride is a student at McCook Community College and the bridegroom is an equipment operator with the U.S. Navy, stationed at Fort Leonard Wood.

The couple is making their home in St. Robert, Mo., while awaiting military orders.
