Esther Irene Lindquist

OBERLIN -- Esther Irene Lindquist, 72, died Tuesday (May 27, 2003) at her home in Oberlin.

She was born Aug. 18, 1930, in Denver, Colo., to Albert Louis and Nelle (McKinzie) Lindquist. She was raised in Oberlin and graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1948. She was an elementary school teacher.

She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings, Jessie Irene Jones, Glenn Lindquist, Ernest John Lindquist and Robert Lindquist.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Helen Lindquist of Oberlin; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, 10 a.m., at the Oberlin Cemetery with the Rev. Heidi Wiebe officiating. Interment will be at the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Evangelical Covenant Church of Oberlin.
