Marjorie L.Stephens

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. -- Marjorie L. Stephens, 80, died Tuesday (Sept. 2, 2003) at the home of her great nephew in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

She was born June 29, 1923, to Lloyd and Nellie (Davis) Stephens in Holbrook. She grew up in the Holbrook and Cambridge area. She graduated from Cambridge High School.

She was an executive secretary for the Federal Courts in Denver, retiring Sept. 25, 1985, after serving 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mid Noel and Grace Karash; and brothers, Floyd and Eldon Stephens. Survivors include her sister, Ruth Hardin of Cambridge; and sister-in-law, Margaret Stephens of Seattle, Wash.

Graveside services are Monday, 10:30 a.m., at Fair View Cemetery in Cambridge.

The family will receive friends Monday, 9:30 a.m., at Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge.
