Lisa Lilienthal and Brady Ternes, both of Hays, Kan., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John Lilienthal of Culbertson and Mr. and Mrs. Mikael R. Ternes of Conway Springs, Kan. Grandparents of the couple are Mrs. Virginia Lilienthal of McCook, the late Henry John Lilienthal, the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Plourd, Mr. and Mrs. Aloysius Ternes of Conway Springs and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wilson. The bride-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Culbertson High School. She is a graduate of Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kan., with a bachelor of science degree in biology and a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry. She has plans to graduate in 2004 with a bachelor of fine arts degree in art. She is employed at Wal-Mart in Hays as a receiving manager. The future bridegroom is a graduate of Conway Springs High School. He graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2000 with a bachelor of science degree in physical education and from Gardner-Webb University in 2002 with a master of arts degree in sport science and pedagogy. He is employed at Fort Hays State University as the assistant athletic trainer. The couple is planning a June 21, 2003, ceremony at St. Nicholas Church in Hays.
