School board will elect officers Monday

McCOOK, Nebraska -- The McCook School Board of Education will elect officers and be asked to approve donations totaling $13,100, at the regular meeting Monday night, 6:30 p.m. at the junior high conference room.

The board will elect president, vice president and secretary. Members will also appoint a treasurer. Per board policy and Nebraska School laws, the board will be asked to appoint the business manager Rick Haney as treasurer and as recording secretary for the board.

The board will also be asked to approve a $600 donation from Wells Fargo Bank for the Student Council Leadership banquet and a $12,500 donation from the Stanley Cohen estate for McCook Schools.

In other business, board members will be asked to approve a cooperative agreement with Southwest Schools for swimming.
