New Norris House curator

Lorri Sughroue/McCook Daily Gazette Jessica Wall will join Dawna Bates as a site coordinator at the Sen. George Norris Home in McCook. Jessica graduated from McCook High School in 1997 and received her master's degree in history in 2009 from Indiana University; she moved back to McCook to be closer to her family, she said. Jessica toured the Norris house while in high school and said she finds it ironic that she is now working there.The most impressive thing to Jessica about Sen. Norris was that "he was a champion for the rural working people," she said. ""We don't seem to have a lot of that anymore."
