Missed point
Dear Editor,
Mike Hendricks, in his left-wing diatribe in his column of Nov. 9-11, misses the whole point on why Democrats won the election.
They won because of Obama's campaign of lies, smears, and character assassination of Mitt Romney, and not because the Democrats are so beloved, except by the welfare mobs.
The recent election proves that America no longer has a moral majority as it did in the Reagan years, but now has an immoral majority, one that's comprised mostly of atheists who believe in same-sex marriage, abortion, open borders, free contraception, destruction of the family, government handouts and lawful marijuana, among other perversions.
Traditional values lost big-time in this election and the "moderates" in the Republican Party are deluding themselves if they think they can get "minority" voters by "reaching out" to them. These groups are so brainwashed they'll never vote for a Republican or conservative.
One day, hopefully they'll wise up if it isn't too late, when the Democrats destroy the dollar and the nation hurtles towards hell.
Here in bankrupt Taxifornia, millions of illegal aliens are sucking the system dry and the corrosive Democrat Party has a stranglehold on the state.
Twenty years ago, we were a Republican state with plentiful jobs and a surplus in the treasury. The Democrats are counting on an Obama bailout.
Be vigilant, Nebraskans, or you'll suffer the same fate as us in the foreseeable future.
Sincerely,
Thomas Kope,
