Coat Closet coat distribution set for November

McCOOK, Nebraska -- McCook, Nebraska's 31st annual "Coat Closet and Winter Clothing Give-Away" will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Nov. 7, 8 and 9, in McCook's Memorial Auditorium, at West Fifth and C streets.

Winter coats, hats, mittens and gloves, snow boots, overalls and coveralls, sweaters and sweatshirts of all sizes -- in clean, wearable condition -- can be taken to the City Auditorium Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 5 and 6, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Distribution will follow this schedule:

Wednesday -- From noon until 7 p.m.

Thursday -- From 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Friday -- From 8 a.m. until noon.

The Coat Closet project is made possible by Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska and Southwest Nebraska community, and by City of McCook Mayor Dennis Berry and McCook City Council members for the use of the City Auditorium.
