Megan and Brian Kollmorgen

ALBION, Nebraska -- Megan Mescher of Albion, Nebraska and Brian Kollmorgen of Stratton, Nebraska were united in marriage Aug. 20, 2011, at St. Michael's Catholic Church with the Rev. Stan Schmit officiating.

The bride's parents are Jerry and Connie Mescher of Albion, Nebraska. Grandparents are MaryAnn Mescher of Albion and Lorraine Seier of Petersburg, Nebraska.

The bridegroom's parents are Richard and Beth Kollmorge of Stratton. Grandparents are Paul and Betty Erdman of Benkelman, Nebraska.

Maid of honor was McKenzie Mescher, sister of bride, of Albion.

Bridesmaids were Stacy DeMuth of Omaha, Nebraska, Jenna Mescher of Grand Island, Nebraska, Tina Krohn of Lincoln, Nebraska, Stacie Hoeman of Omaha, Nebraska and Jessica Hughbanks of Kearney, Nebraska.

The bride's personal attendant was Julie Bolin of Hutchinson, Kansas.

The best man was Steve Kollmorgen, brother of bridegroom, of Palisade, Nebraska.

The bridegroomsmen were Dallas Jesch and Rocky Hatch, of Kearney, Nate Brabec of Wood River, Greg Richey of Kearney and Matt Mescher of Lincoln.

Flower girls were Brooklyn Primrose, of Primrose, Nebraska and Karley Fruedenburg of Madison, Nebraska, both cousins of the bride.

The ring bearer was Dylan Kollmorgen, nephew of the bridegroom, of Palisade.

Ushers were Justin Bash, Justin Broadfoot, Torey Hadwiger and Adam Krueger, all of Kearney.

Candlelighters were Jamie Mescher and Melanie Rankin.

Guestbook and program attendants were LeeAnn Kollmorgen and Andrea Terry.

Music was provided by Aaron Ott as pianist and Leah Ott as vocalist, both cousins of the bridegroom.

The reception was at the Boone County Event Center.

Host couples at the reception were Jim and Alice Mescher, Gary and Kathy Seier, Kenny and Diana Ham and Chris and Annie Pursely.

Reception servers were Christine Collier, Bev Funk and Julie Ott.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Boone Central High School. She received an Associate of Applied Science degree from Southeast Community College in Lincoln and is employed at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital as a respiratory therapist.

The bridegroom is 1998 graduate of Stratton High School. He received a bachelor's degree in mechanized systems management and minor degree in agronomy. He is employed at Cargill Ag Horizons as a personal marketing manager.

The couple took a post-wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica.

They will reside in Kearney.
