Russ and Fern (Cassell) Dowling

The family of Russ and Fern (Cassell) Dowling are hosting a reception in honor of the couple's 75th wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 5, 1936, in Oberlin, Kansas. The reception is at the Heritage Senior Center in McCook, Tuesday, Sept. 6. Lunch is served from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you want to eat lunch there, call 345-1760 before 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Cake will be served during the meal for everyone. Their family includes their children Sharon and Jerry Felker, Carrol and Warren Barnell, Roger and Maureen Dowling, 12 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
